| The Foundation for Research and Education Development aims to draw together students of ability, promise and character to seek to learn and grow, to discover new horizons and walk new trails. FRED will strive to gather continuously excellent teaching and research faculty, resident in the campus as well as world wide acclaimed associate faculty leaders. The faculty will bring the wisdom of maturity and the students, the freshness of youth in a dynamic atmosphere that challenges students them academically and encourages everyone to participate. |

| FRED will create an enabling environment for conducting relevant
quality applied research for the benefit of Organizational Development
for the traditional as well as the newly emerging industry sectors.
The Foundation will offer a suitable blend of theory and concepts,
subject-wise workshops and OD Laboratory work, industry internship
to the Indian and international students, as part of its teaching
and learning philosophy, for a variety of Graduate and Certificate
Programs, it may choose to conduct in Business Administration, Organizational
Development and industry-specific subjects. |

| State-of the art Learning Facilities- Effectively enhanced Curriculum |
| The Foundation for Research, Education will set up its headquarters at Mysore, in India, the historic city of knowledge, a very conducive atmosphere, for higher learning. In its endevaour to create a place a where leaders are made, a place which offers world class academics, FRED will put in place the most suitable campus in Mysore with infrastructure and facilities meeting global needs. The campus at Mysore will have four distinct wings which comprise (a) Research
Wing (b) Education and Training Wing (c) Faculty
and Students Residence (d) Conference and Library Wing |
| Establishing its main centre and base in Mysore, FRED will create
associate facilities in Bangalore, India and few other key centers
in India and abroad for conducting various courses suitable to the
target students of such locations The institute may adopt and apply
different forms of teaching methodology at its various centers which
will comprise of Fully Residential or Partly Residential or Contact
cum Distance Learning. The Foundation for Research, Education and
Development (FRED) will conduct and organize teaching programmes
leading to Government recognized as well as industry recognized courses.
FRED may individually or in collaboration with other Indian or International
Universities and Institutes, help train research scholars leading
to their M.Phil or Ph.D in Management or Social Science Research. |

| FRED –Endeavour to Make a Difference |
| FRED will start offering Certificate Courses in Organizational Development and Strategic Human Resource Development from the Fall Session (Oct.2008), in association with top class educational societies. The Foundation will commence activities leading to creation of its own self contained infrastructure at its Mysore Central Campus, and poised to create facilities in stages in 2009 and 2010. The requisite approvals are in the process of being obtained from the Government of India Educational Body for conduction of the 2 Year Post Graduate Programmes from 2009 |

| Broadening Students’ Horizons |
| FRED is geared to offer special programmes for serving executives
from the key industries, initially at Bangalore and Mysore from 2008
and 3 other centres in India from 2009. The Foundation for Research
Education and Development is organizing a Global Organization Development
Summit (GODS) in the year in 2009 in Hyderabad, in collaboration
with the International Organization Development Association (IODA),
and is expected to have delegates from around 45 countries across
the world. FRED is has completed the planning process and is on the
threshold of starting research in Urban Development Studies, in 2009,
with special reference to the emerging and fast developing economies
of the world in association with Shenyang Jianzhu University of North
China. The Foundation will offer in-house industry programmes for
large industrial groups from 2009. FRED Advisory Council as well
as FRED Educational Council will chart out the requirements of new
programmes as well as constant refining of its ongoing p rogrammes
and come out with its Calendar of Programmes in the second quarter
of each calendar |
